[Malaysia▪︎马来西亚]
This is my second trip to Kuala Lumpur.
Immediately booked booked my flight with Scoot to and fro which is less than SGD$200 and my Hotel is booked at a discounted price so I paid about SGD$220 for the Hotel accomdation.
Took a morning flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur.
My flight was at 9:10AM, super sleepy in the morning.
Because of advance technology, I get to self check-in my luggage at the self check-in counter at Changi Airport Terminal 2.

For my whole trip I did not have to worry about travelling as my friend from KL has her own car and accompanied me throughout the whole trip and drove me here and there.
For this I am thankful for that and even offer to pay for her petrol fee which she denied.
So what I could do is pay for all our meals and shoppings together.
My second trip to Kuala Lumpur and I still choose to stay at PARKROYAL on Kuala Lumpur because of the location of the Hotel which is accessible to many shopping malls.
Further information about the Hotel here.
Day 1 - 9 Mar 2019
By the time I reached the Hotel (around 12:30PM), my room was ready and I could have an early check-in.
Please be reminded that early check-in is subject to Hotel's room availability as most Hotel's check-in time is at 3PM.
My first meal in Kuala Lumpur is at this restaurant called The Tokyo Restaurant which is my second time there. First was for cheesecake only.

Virgin Passion Mojito (mocktail)

Fish and Chips
Non-stop walking the whole day on a hot day.
First pit stop for shopping was at Pavilion for a quick walk around while waiting for time to pass as my friend had an appointment at 4:30PM.
Decide to go into the Greyhound Cafe for some quick drink to cool down ourselves.
Weather was really hot.

We headed off to the appointment location.
And after my friend was done with her appointment, she brought me over to The Family Mart to try the matcha ice cream which was only recently released and available in Malaysia only.
Singapore does not have Family Mart, so we did not have the chance to try it. And the fact that they even have charging port (both in power point and USB port).

Tried the matcha ice cream from Family mart which is at RM2.90 (approx SGD 1).

Weather was hot, but the sky has it's own piece of art.
Last stop of the day for food was at VCR cafe.
This cafe is set up at this old shop house area.
Famous for being painted black on the shop exterior.

We initially wanted to sit at the outdoor area of their second floor but it was full, even their indoor full glass panel window area was also occupied, so we had no choice but to sit inside.

Tried their lemonade and avocado toast.
My first time trying their food and their lemonade came with a taste of spice,
Their avocado toast was covered with avocado (mashed) and with spice and pomegranate topped with sunny side up.

A close up of the avocado toast
This is a nice place for a cafe hopping experience.
Their menu comes in English and Korean.
There is also a Korean staff at the counter, so if any Koreans who wants to visit, you may try your luck to see if the staff is there and can speak to you in your native language.
For anyone who is driving, please be advised that parking can be hard to find if you come late.
So be prepared.
Ending the day rather early because I was really tired from morning flight and barely having some sleep on the day before.
Day 2 - 10 Mar 2019
Breakfast is decided at Suki-ya.
A Japanese hotpot buffet restaurant located in Pavilion's Tokyo Street.

Our lunch was really full.
The meat they served is - chicken, beef, lamb.
And it's unlimited on their meat, so meat lovers can order as much as they can.
The price for each person is RM34.80.
We paid RM78.60 (approx SGD 26) for 2 person.
There are photo printing machines almost everywhere and in every shopping mall that we went. I had 4 photos printed for RM 10 (approx SGD 3).

Not forgetting to mentioned that my intention to visit KL other than visiting my friends, was to get my Innisfree products there.
Gotta say that the prices of the products in Malaysia was much cheaper than those in SG.
And that the products that is newly release, reaches the outlets in Malaysia before Singapore.
So I had a chance to get the items before they were release in SG.

Decided to get a small tub of Kiehl's Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque.
It is said to purify and minimize pores.
And got myself the refill for the Innisfree My To Go cushion.

This is the view out of my Hotel window.

Passed by this main gate and my friend told me it's called - Pudu Prison.
You may google about the prison and read about it's history (here).
Dessert at Neighbour's Coffee Bar (this cafe is highly recommeded by my KL friend) which is about a 30mins drive from the Hotel I stay at.

Just looking at their menu does make me think that one day I will keep going there till I have eaten all the food on their menu.

Really love the ambience of the cafe.
This cafe is operated by youngsters.
You can have freshly brewed coffee as they have their own coffee beans available.
So it's not those instant 3-in-1 coffee that you'll taste.
But I choose passionfruit juice to go along with my souffle pancake with yoghurt because it was such a hot day.

I love their souffle with yoghurt that I wouldn't mind going back for it again.
But be prepare that you might need to queue and wait for your turn to eat due to it being famous and always crowded even though they have tables set up inside and outside of the cafe.
We were lucky that we barely waited for 20mins and got our seats as it was just the 2 of us.
By the time we were finished, the sky has gone dark.
We litterally had to run to the car because it's starting to drizzle and strong winds blowing.
We then head over to Times Square which I didn't get to visit during my previous trip.
Look at how dark the sky is (not yet 6PM).
There is a indoor rollercoaster inside Time Square and it's really big.
The indoor rollercoaster wasn't operating which I believe it was due to the accident that happened there not long before my trip.
The size of the mall is similiar to Causeway Point / Vivo City in Singapore.
Even went to the 7-Eleven and bought some tibits to munch in the Hotel room.
Bought some bread to fill my tummy in case I got hungry in the night.

Walked pass the claw machine shop and tried our luck and I caught Doraemon toy after multiple tries.
Literally behaving like small kid in the shop.

There is this building that is in the midst of building however it is still providing some light show at night on the building itself.
2 meals to end Day 2.
Both meals were really full.
Have to buy gaviscon from Watsons to ease our gastric.
Both were bloated from too much food.
Day 3 - 10 Mar 2019
Took this photo of the view out of my Hotel window room when I woke up in the morning.
But then I fall back to sleep after taking this photo.

Look at how much haze there is in the morning.
This is what is on, every morning I was there.
Day 3 afternoon spent alone as my friend has to work but I am fine with it as I have a habit to sleep till late afternoon.
I slept till about 1PM and went out for lunch at about 3PM.
My friend will then be meeting me at night and staying over with me in the Hotel (same like Day 1).
Had my lunch at Tokyo Don which is located in the Tokyo Street in Pavilion.

Sunset on the highway can also be such a beauty too.
Dinner was at this Korean restaurant called - Ticket to Korea, which is operated by a young Korean couple.

We were rather surprised that we were about to leave for dessert and were given a complimentary glass of ice cream. Totally awesome to end our meal.
Day 4 - 10 Mar 2019
My friend had been wanting to bring me to eat Malaysia's bah kut teh (肉骨茶) which is called Pao Xiang Bah Kut Teh and we found out that they had an outlet at Pavilion which is close to the Hotel that I am staying at. So we do not have to wake up realy early to go for breakfast.

Next stop is at Acme Bar & Coffee which we took awhile to locate the place as there was alot of construction area and that the cafe is hidden within the office towers.
Definitely love the ambience of the place with it's oldie vibes.

Looks like their menu will change every once awhile as there is 2018/2019 year marked on the menu.

Had freshly squeezed orange juice to go along with raspberry chocolate cake and also on the Sizzling brownie with a scoop of ice cream on top of it.
This is my last meal outside of the Hotel on my last full day in KL.
Ended Day 4 early as my friend has something cropped up at home.
Day 5 - 10 Mar 2019
Woke up around 8AM on Day 5 and had breakfast at the Hotel buffet restaurant, was too lazy to go out for breakfast. Rest assure, the breakfast charge was affordable if you do the currency coversion.
Checked out of the Hotel at 12 and go for some last minute shopping at Pavilion before my friend came at 1:30 to fetch me to the airport.
Had McChicken meal and nugget al a carte before I board my plane back to Singapore.
I will be back again some day.
